Well, today I bit the bullet and purchased a 2006 Dodge Sprinter Van - 2500 High Roof 140 WB (less than 250K miles). The plan is to use it for a combination of work (hauling Simple Shower products from factory to assembly point, home, etc.) and also use it for travel. The intent is to maintain a cargo bay that I can install temporary living quarters (bunks, kitchen, toilet). Right now it's just a cargo van with a bunch of racks in the back and an insulated bulkhead between the driver compartment and the cargo bay (which I'll probably leave in until the back is insulated). First step - remove all the non-essential cargo racks. Planning is pretty much done (thanks to Sportsmobile for their Sprinter templates). Pix to follow (just not now - it's dark outside!).
