Those guys went places we would worry about. Two things
- Pizza cutter tyres, good for mud when there's a hard bottom, one reason I always keep the standard "razor blades" on my 4x4s.
- High clearance, all those old cars were quite high.
I love the roll over, hey just keep pushing it until it's the right way up, and get the most expendable bloke to pull
Did those old cars have real diffs? Maybe they were just a crown and pinion gears in which case they had "rear lockers"
