Where to put 2nd battery in suburban

I cant seem to figure out where to put an auxiliary battery in my 95 suburban. After a quick look, I don't think I can stick another one under the hood without some rearranging. Does any one have any experience hiding a battery in a OBS? If so where and how did you do it?

I have seen many Suburbans with factory dual battery setups, not just the diesel models, you could likely snag the parts off a junkyard truck.

I agree with the above

the second batt goes on drivers side..you made have a plastic storage box in its place..thats what my 96 has...just remove it..check at ROCK AUTO for a replacement or LMC TRUCK....group 34/78 batteries fit great there!

I may be able to help

I had a 97, I took out the plastic box on the driver side. I made a battery holder that I still have if your interested. I know for a fact that it fits and bolts in place nicely.

Torklift sells and inexpensive rack that attaches to the frame and holds a group 24 AGM battery. Easiest and cheapest way to add a battery to an SUV.
