When will a new Macbook Pro be introduced?

I am needing a new laptop and want to know if I should wait - if a new MBP is coming any time soon.

Also, I like the compact 13" MBPro but concerned if there is fan noise.
Otherwise, I'll get the 15" MBPro.

I have a Macbook and the fan noise is a little annoying.
My old Powerbook has no fan noise.

Was going to suggest the MacRumors Buyers' Guide as well. Sometimes you have to read between the lines, though. Particularly with the iPods, you'll notice that the updates have been in September for the past several years - but that there are some February/March releases earlier in their histories. Those releases throw off the calculations and you should just expect future releases in September anyway.

I hear that the Macbook Air might get a refresh any day now, but laptops and desktops all were refreshed this year already. Next up, iPad 2.0 and CDMA iPhone 4

The fan noise in the latest MBP is definitely less than the previous version. The bottom seems cooler too.
(comparing my current 15" mpb to my previous generation 17")
The only bad aspect of the current generation is losing the expresscard slot on all but the 17"
