What did you do to your Expo Jeep today?

Clicked over 200k miles in the ZJ yesterday as I was wrapping up my holiday travels. 11 days, 1900 miles, only failure was tearing off an LCA bracket during the first trip.

Better Ride!

Swapped the front springs!

These are out: (Not naming the manufacturer, it seems mean)

3.5" dual-rate from Metal Cloak. Huge improvement in ride, plus the poly spacers were about to explode,
so I had to get the front end up to match the rear sooner, rather than later.

(I know the springs are both upside-down, but they fall over otherwise!)

Now for some nice weather to swap the front trackbar and shocks!

Notched out my pre-filter some so it would fit over the limb riser bracket...worked out good I think.

I have turned it so the slit is facing backwards...

Hi: When I replaced my springs, I was recommended to not go with the dual-rate because I was told they had a tendency to sag on the soft end. In retrospect I am not sure if this was the right decision. I have had the rig out for a few thousand miles under full load, payload and towing, and find the ride, especially in the front is just too hard, or at least harder than necessary. Let us know if they seem to sag, or lose efficacy after some use.

You said it would be mean to name the manufacturer of the red Springs, which I guess we all know who it is. Did you have any issues with those springs?

Undercoated Jeep WK. Fiddled about with GPCM And GPS for 0671 code

Had the WK Undercoated and prepped for winter. Planned to take it for an 1800 mile trip, but since the weather called for above zero temperatures and no snow, decided it would be pointless, so took the JSW. Photo attached is what the weather actually was, and what the Jeep looked like when we returned. At least the undercoating kept it safe.

Pulled Glow Plug Control Module, and swapped Glow plug 1 & 2 to see if code 0671 would stay on, or switch to 0672. It stayed 0671, which leads me to believe my GPCM fix did not work, and I will need to replace the module.

GPs came out easy.

I like the wheels! Size - width - backspacing?

Now they need to be black, though.........

Thanks for the comments. The wheels are 16x8s. 4.5 inch backspacing. Still trying to figure out what color I want to paint them. They are currently gray primer.

Wheels came from Summit Racing.

Tires are BFG Ko2s. 285/75/16.

A couple more pics:
