'71 Westy I bought from my Uncle (original owner) back in June of '92.

Drove her for 30 hours and just about 1300 miles from Denver CO to San Jose CA for my new job...

She ran quite good all the way here. Did 55-60mph keeping the RPMs to about 3300 to 3600 for the enitre run.

Just outside the ranger station on the east side of Yosemite National Park - it was closed when I got there at 2am so this is where I camped and woke up to this...

Not an off-roader but most definitely an air-cooler!

My 1962 VW Karmann Ghia Restoration. Stock motor and tranny, just put on some whitewalls (not pictured).

Enjoy!

Not really overlanding material but here's my 69 Ghia I'm slowly restoring and my 02 new Beetle which serves as a daily driver alongside my Montero ( sometimes 14mpg gets old ) Never been into bajas and chopped up VWs so the Ghia will stay stock with a few exceptions ( suspension and engine )

Excuse the angled pictures, its all I have on my work computer lol . I can take level pictures believe it or not.

Can I play?!

New to the world of VWs, but I think I'm adapting well! 1986 Syncro, many adventures to come. Purchased as a "project" barely running, done the usual heads, reseal, and trouble shoot 80s fuel injection. Just took it on her maiden voyage around town this weekend.

Let my girlfriend drive and couldn't get her out of it.

Replaced all the front suspension, wheels, tires, and alignment completed on the beetle since the last update. Have also installed a hitch, trailer brake controller, and airbags to augment the rear springs as needed. Still collecting parts and pieces for my westy.
