VORSHEER XOC - Overland Camper

Hello everyone!

We just wanted to share the 2019 VORSHEER XOC with everyone here on the forums. It's an up and coming overland camper we are excited to be building. VORSHEER was started and is ran by four former Moby1 employees. We started up after Moby1 closed their doors and we're already getting close to kicking out our first trailer (we're just a couple weeks away). It's in the same class as the Moby1 XTR and, while it shares similarities, it's quite a different trailer - what makes us different is all in the details! Head to our website where you can learn all about the XOC!

We also have social media on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube under the handle of vorsheershop, so be sure to check those out if you want to see what we are doing. We try to stay as active as possible on social media platforms so everyone can see what we are up to. If you have any questions you can contact us in a variety of ways, such as email (general questions to info@vorsheer.com, sales questions to sales@vorsheer.com), phone (+1 (385) 685-5037), or on any of our social media platforms. Customer response time and satisfaction is our number one goal, so don't forget that we are here to help with anything.

We just released a video that shows off the fabrication of our frame. It's rolled at 30 degrees to give it a unique look, and is really rigid and tough. Even though it's made from steel, the whole trailer is estimated to weigh in around 2,000 lbs (wet). Below we have some renders so you can get an idea of what the XOC will look like when it is all done. Follow us on social media to see the real thing come together in the next couple of weeks!

Well thanks for taking the time to look! As stated previously, customer relations is of HUGE importance to us, so let us know if you have any questions!

There had been bunch of replies to this thread, what happened to them?
Honestly, couldn't tell you... We were told our threads got pulled down by Expedition Portal since we haven't set up an Approved Vendor account yet. We're surprised this thread is still even active. So that's our guess as to where they all went.

Any thoughts on making a swing open rear door for the galley? That way a Batwing awning could be used.

There is a hatch on the rear that already supports batwing awnings. Full pictures of the fished product are on our website and social media accounts in the OP.

All I've seen is a standard awning on your website and sure looks like the rear galley door rises above the roof line . I can't see how a 270 degree awning will be able to wrap around.

I also couldn't find any interior picture on your website. Is it possible to sit inside your trailer in a chair , such as a "Pico" chair ?

The batwing awning would attach near the bottom of the hatch and open from there when the hatch is open. However, it's not a 270, it's a 180 (not sure if that is technically still a "batwing").

Our cabin is made to fit a queen size mattress, but without that mattress it's just an empty space with a couple cupboards, so we suppose you could sit on a chair if you'd rather do that.

Hey Everyone,

Not sure if this thread is still being watched by any, but wanted to give an update on our activity for any who may stumble upon this thread. Our most active thread can now be found here. We have many photos of our trailers up there, some questions from other members of the forum, a few customers who have jumped on to give their thoughts on us, new trailer announcements, and more. If you have any questions for us or about our company, please post them there so they are centralized for all to view.

Thanks!
