This very interesting adaptation of your standard pop up shell requires you to build a frame under it to correctly mount it in on your truck, to raise it up enough to clear the sides of the truck bed.
But it’s designed that way on purpose, so you can store all of your dirty, grubby outdoors gear underneath the shell in some storage drawers you’ve built or bought for that purpose!
That‘s a Pretty Darn Cool Idea! I wouldn’t be surprised if FWC or ATC eventually adds a model like this to their lineups, complete with some well made storage drawers.
