Vehicle 1st Aid Kit, what am I missing?

Much has been covered already but I didn't notice SAM splint on there (i.e. the 36"x4.5" size that is good for the arm, or as a hasty c collar).

Amazon is where I get most of my stuff, but after going through Wilderness First Aid (WFA) with MEDIC SOLO I'd be remiss if I didn't point out their webstore which has some decent prices on some things (sheers, the aforementioned splint) as well as their handy references. (https://www.solowfa.com/zencart/)

Based off your location/avatar we're likely in the same gun club-what I'll say is that the WFA was good for me to take my very similar setup (i.e. two IFAKs with the usual tourney, Israeli bandages, impregnated gauze, etc + a larger FAK for more routine treatment) and round it out a little better.

All with the intent to be able to handle things at my level of training, and being cognizant of what is beyond that (rolled into the context of 'it depends' on where you are when things happen too).

A long winded way of saying after years of ABC/MARCH/whatever it was refreshing to take a good med course that took into account the 9 line may be hours away out on the trail, you'd almost certainly enjoy it a great deal. I can't wait to do WFR.

I've always found less is more. Definitely agree that knowledge is more important than anything else. Benadryl is cheap, small to package, and can be found literally anywhere and there's always someone in every group who's allergic to something.

Knowledge is extremely important. I could speak on this at lenghts and not get tired, lots of good advice already shared. I will add as far as literature, ( I do have "Wilderness and Travel Medicine" by Eric Weiss MD") But found i prefered the combat and special operations medical handbook. It covers everything you can think of, and was made "soldier safe". Even covers vet work, and packing an animal like a mule, or llama, dental work, field appendectomy, Obvously some of that YOU WILL NEVER USE. But it covers the diagnosis of it. I have worked with many a medic who love theirs.

You can get it as a download, and should be able to find it cheaper then this. Don't Pay Full price. EBAy, or eve somewhere else on amazon should have it cheaper. I originally paid 30 for mine.
