This is a great family camping event that typically draws over 75 Land Rovers - plus other vehicles are welcome too.

Looks like a lot of fun. I wish I had my Rover when I was in FT. Bragg. It's a bit of a trek for me now.

Yeah. Erosion seems to be a big issue at Uwharrie. Back in 02 or 03 I helped put in a bunch of silt traps. Back then it was just bales of hay staked into the ground. It was weird coming back 6 years later and seeing them pretty much full.

That obstacle really didn't show up until 05 or so. Started off with a bunch of ATVs doing their thing in there. I remember running it and having trouble because the original "ledge" was ATV sized.

A lot of "ATV sized obstacles" have shown up at Uwharrie over the years. Those guys really do tear up the trails.

Anywho, enough of my opinion. Look forward to being there in a few weeks! Geez, it really is in just a few weeks...

I was at Uwharrie yesterday, did a good day of training with Bill Burke and Scott Fields at the Uwharrie Offroad Training Center Good grub at the Eldorado Outpost for breakfast - such a great place.

It's really nice to see private trail systems being developed adjacent to the park - it's a nice enhancement and provides more options.

There's been a lot of maintenance done off-season at Uwharrie, including the smoothing of Daniel as mentioned.
