Thanks guys.

Attempted to do Bailey's Cabin and Toro Peak last week. Got to the North Coyote Canyon trailhead only to find out that the trail is closed until Sept 30th.

Very cool pictures! That painted tree and quote are unique.

FYI for the benefit of anyone else who reads this... Coyote Canyon is closed annually in the summer months.

Coyote Canyon will be CLOSED for the annual summer closure from June 1 through September 30 to allow the bighorn sheep to drink without interruption during the hot summer months. -Anza-Borrego Desert State Park

Cool pictures. Santa Rosa Mtn is one of my favorite summer camping areas.

When you do make it out to Bailey's cabin, watch for this sign.

There's fork that heads into Alder Canyon, which also has a few nice spots to camp in.

Quick question, I know you can have a fire at Baileys cabin, but can you have a fire a Alder canyon?

Thanks
