Does anyone know what the weight of a 3 seater U1300L cab and what is the stroke length required to lift cab to adequate angle? If anyone knows the force required to lift the cab that will even be easier?

The mud Guards have been restored. Not absolutely perfect but a vast improvement than the rusty and badly buckled and bent ones as before

My draft plan for the rear winch and hitch plate. The drawing is not totally complete however it gives a simple idea of what I am doing. I still need to take this drawing to the Mog and finalize some measurements to ensure there is no component, frame or tray conflicts and also to assess where potential bracing and strengthening is required. I will more than likely use the Stallion (25,000lb) SHERPA winch front and rear with synthetic rope. https://sherpa4x4.com/collections/f...on-25000lb-truck-winch?variant=14715532509302
Will modify the existing hitch plate to accommodate the winch as well. Bit of flattening, cutting, drilling and welding and all should be good (hopefully  ). I will very likely incorporate the 50mmx50mm square tube as a bolt-on to accommodate the traditional ball hitch. Will use the existing bolt on holes (which are now 100mm or so lower in my draft) to accommodate d-shackle recovery eyes.
Might attempt a quick front winch design this afternoon. Happy Sunday afternoon folks.

It doesn't take much to tilt them. You can use an engine hoist

Been a while since I was last here. Real work is getting in the way of fun work although things still pretty slow due to C19.

Before I say anything I would like to add that I am not a pneumatics specialist so excuse me if I say something ridiculous. I have attached a PDF of my approximate set up. My system 18.3 bar. I also have a 3rd tank which is connected to the shown protection circuit valve. I want to add a 24V back up compressor (awaiting more info regarding the VIAIR twin set up with booster etc) and thinking to feed into the right front glad hand line. Or do I just buy a spare single cylinder belt driven compressor and fit it on the side of the road should the current one break down?

I am thinking of connecting the line using a different fitting in front of the non-return valve as shown on the PDF. If this is not a great place I would appreciate any feedback. For my semi auto tyre inflation system and small power tools I have options. For power tools I will probably hook into the existing coupling head supplies? Think I have four (3 right side and 1 left side). I'm sure these supplies were for purposes of tyre inflation and the like but I have not even taken the plastic caps off and had a good look at the fittings or actually researched what their original design is for.

For the Tyre inflation system I will look at using the existing Hydraulic winch air supply as I have removed the winch from the vehicle. I am still waiting for the supplier of the high flow tyre inflator (89XDE by air tec) to get back to me with a slightly modified unit. The unit has 3-4 Preset Buttons otherwise just enter manually, then requires modified On/Off Switch, Voltage Stabilizer Board and 24V-12V Converter. Will be quite exciting having an integrated Tyre inflation system that works well and quickly when pulling off tar road to beach road etc.........hope I can get it to do this effectively? Whilst on holiday and never in a rush I would still prefer to sit on the side of a tar road for as little time as possible prior to entering the beach or bush.

I have recently found air seats for an incredibly cheap price. Next thing is to work out what regulated pressure they need, how heavy and how good they actually are? I dont know much about these seats but If all good then I will buy.

I HAVE A PROBLEM. I have only started using my Mog to ferry stuff around site. The differential pressure warning light has come on. Sometimes its intermittent with applying pressure on the brakes which first lead me to believe perhaps an air leak on the master cylinder. Further investigation I noticed that when I use the differential switch over valve (engage 4x4) I noticed oil coming out of the pipe in the attached photo. Maybe it make sense that the oil is coming from the front diff when I engage 4x4 as there is no oil in 2X4. Firstly I need to open the diff lock pressure switch to confirm what I believe. Would appreciate any comments before I look further into this. I suspect the oil coming in here (see photo where I am pointing) from diff lock pressure switch

Most air ride seats use 1/4 inch lines ...I use a quick connector at the back of my tow truck for 50 feet of air line with quick connector for any tool I need to use..I will get some pictures Monday so you can see my setup

I checked the gear box air line which goes back to the switch (I think port 21) and then I checked the front and rear diff lines at the pressure switch (these go to port 22 I think). Evidence of oil only in the front diff as my first inclination. I am not sure what I have done right or wrong but I know longer have oil coming from the 4x4 diff switch. The light is still intermittent with quick bursts of brake pressure (on/off)............ I definitely have an air leak because today’s idling operating pressure was more obvious Than ever. I think some soapy water May help? ?. BTW I HAVE TOWED A 20,000l tanker with no weight on the rear (there was no water in the tanker but still I’m towing on sand as well). MOGS are weapons for those that are trying to make a decision. I’m not sparking a convo on this with regards to too many things!!!
