Due to family expansion we sell our beautiful Unimog Camper ..

This Unimog rolled off the production line in 1961 with a 6-cylinder petrol engine. In 2000 it was converted by me to 5-cylinder turbo diesel with intercooler. Thanks to a unique connection between the engine and gearbox, you don't have any engine vibrations in the truck. After a number of wonderful trips, I completely restored it in 2016 to be able to withstand for years to come. However, it now has too few sleeping places for us ...

Looks like a military ambulance body. 138 sounds a little short, but if it's been insulated inside it could be right.

Your right! It was an ambulance box and it is insulated. The only differences between radio box and ambulance box are:
1_ An ambulance box has a small window in the front, wich I removed due to the big opening between cab and living.
2_ A radio box has 4 (sometimes 5) openings in the roof for antenna cables.

You cannot stand upright inside, but we never really missed it. Only cooking could be a challenge.
I've placed the Engel fridge in a drawer, so you can pull it out of the kitchen while cooking. We use the fridge to sit on while cooking!

Even tall people can sit normally around the table.

It does look really nice. It's a fantastic price too. If I didn't already have one I'd be bang up for this!
