Picture is boat wiring but I've seen vehicles done the same. So yes I'm being critical of the wiring that does not match the qualtiy of what I've seen in the rest of the pictures.

The issue I think a lot of people are going to have is the fact that Total Composites is advertised as a cheap alternative for expo boxes- and thats what everyone thinks of when they hear Total Compostes, "affordable", and then this has the $500,000 asking price- doest really fit with what people think.
I have had a few friends interested in this, and message me asking on what I thought... Haha, I don't know what to tell them besides its a beautiful build, but it also looks like a earthroamer but isn't, and for that kind of money you'd want something more factory with a good warranty like GXV, ProCab, ActionMobile, Unicat, or even an Earthroamer. I mean, GXV is selling the "Ultimate expedition safari LMTV" right now for $350,000... I wish the seller luck with the sale, I'm pretty confident this would move at $220k-$240k, but if someone has to have it they'll pay.. GLWS

I agree with Alloy, marine wiring in high end offshore fishing boats- SeaVee, Yellowfin, Freeman, Renaissance Prowler, to name a few looks like the picture he posted. Prowler and Freeman color code the circuits so you can trace to find problems. While the environments are different, aside from the salt, the stresses are similar. It is rare you see an RV wiring job that compares to the marine when you are paying similar prices for the end product.

well here is the thing: We ( totalcomposites ) are not selling this rig! Its the owner that asked us to help with advertising as we already have far reach with potential buyers. Therefore please understand that I can and will not comment on the decision about the price point, warranty or anything else. The camper body was sourced through us. We give a 12 month warranty on our parts. Even after that time we are standing behind our products with advice and help in what ever way we can and that’s reasonable. Everything else was bought and build through an amazing custom shop in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada. Company is called Arclab motor sports. They will warranty any work. Just give them a call to find out. If you are interested in the vehicle and like to make an offer for what ever you think it’s worth, go ahead! I’m more than happy to get you in contact with the owner. They know what they have and are in no rush.

This is the electrical compartment of a $205,000 Styer Expo Camper... Better example instead of a marine application

Looks well sorted. However, I find it curious that there is seemingly a hot water tank and water piping in that same compartment. A leak or a burst in tubing could make a small problem a big one.

dont get me started on European quality and pricing.... it always blows me away what you get for 250.000 in Germany vs the USA. The other difference is the lack of fully trained specialists in North America. For example: you will be hard pressed finding anyone in Germany that did not go to trade school working on these trucks. At unicat we actually had engineers working in the shop! In that case you will for sure see top notch in every compartment. In North America on the other hand you learn your trade on the job. At least most of the times. I owned and managed several shops around town. The biggest challenge was finding staff that knew what they are doing. I trained way too many on the job just to see them leave after 6 months after they discovered that producing quality is actually difficult. In any case, that’s a topic for a campfire chat and a cold drink.

While I stopped and engaged with Andreas, specifically about selling the Mercades. And shot photos of the Ford in the Total Composites booth. They had gone into the village for groceries. I chatted with the owner and he invited me to take a look inside. I only had the camera on my iPhone, photos are OK. Nothing like the Nikon. Bummer the B.C.O.R. is cancelled this year, we where planning to come back up. DG

That's all fine and dandy for a tidy install, BUT any sort of servicing or troubleshooting on the road with that would be a flipping nightmare!!!

Very untrue comment, it is very easy servicing one of these on the road. Just lift the cable tray and follow the color coded wires for the issue with the nice schematic the manufacture gives you.. Easy
