A question to UK owners who have their 3.5-7.5t rig MOT-tested in Class-4 M1 (which includes private-HGV/motorcaravans regardless of weight)...
Do you have side rails and rear under-run bar fitted or not? There is no mention of them in the test guidance docs. If you don't have them fitted, are you challenged about them at test-time? They are of course required in the HGV test for N2-N3 goods vehicles.
