Sorry if this has already been asked but since yall get such a variety of experience with all types.

Which is yalls preference gas or diesel?
Any significant difference in performance and MPG between the 2?

That answer is always subjective, depends on intended use, etc. Lately I'm a gas fan for the simplicity & reliability. You know what we never have to work on? Gas engines. I prefer to tow my travel trailer with my V10 over my 7.3 mainly because of the better transmission. I like not having to stare at my EGT and transmission temps too, just put gas in it and go! The diesels will be more efficient but only by a few MPGs. If you do the math and factor in purchase price, fuel mileage, maintenance costs & fuel prices the cost of ownership is always less with a gasser.

Tribeof5 needed more stopping power so we installed some 8 piston calipers and slotted rotors.

This (mentioned pro and cons and their dependencies) is even true in Germany / EU! Diesel price is now 5,40$/ gallon (6.10 gas) ! 50% sales are diesel, tax and insurance are more expensive. Though almost all gas engines are with turbo/ inkl. cooler, direct injection etc. all very expensive parts if broken.

They're painted on.

They were originally windows. It seems they all leak at some point so it's not too unusual to fiberglass them closed instead. I know spencyg did with his.

14 E350 Quigley came in for some upgrades. Full OBA system, rear ARB, Aluminess front & rear, Warn 16.5, sPOD to control the lights OBA and locker, Fox 2.0 front & rear.

Ha, yep! New wheels are tires will be part of the next visit, he wants some meat under there! Doesn't like that 285s are max with fender mods.

Came in Saturday to start V7 vacation prep, road trip with the kids coming soon. 1st task, make sure everyone has their own USB port! And I ran power to the rear for the fridge. I'll be mounting my ARB and the ports potty curve in the back because daddy isn't dealing with 4 kids on different schedules. Or with finding a clean bathroom on the road. I'd rather bring my own.

MEV10 is mobilized, off to alignment and then some road miles and a few little extras before it goes home Friday. Awesome van. 6" on 35s, Stage 2 front D60 with 4.10s and RSC upgrade, Sterling 10.5 rear with an air locker, FB003 front bumper with a Warn VR12-S and Rigid lights, 35" Too AT2 on XD Addict wheels, OBA, rear skid, our fuel tank, undercoated body, Aluminess R tire carrier and all of the regular UJOR goodies. I'll shoot a video before the end of the week.

SoCal V10 getting some mileage as the lunch shuttle. Video and pics coming soon for this mega build.

I forgot to ask a while back, will you ever do the Banks exhaust system (including headers) on V7 and an intake kit? You know that beast would be unleashed lol!

Yep she still looks good! Going on the lift later this week for an underside cleaning and could always use another Rob session. I have the K/N Intake on it already and a 5Star tune, thats all I'll do. I hate headers!
