6.0 SMB is back from alignment and AC charge, ready for miles and then she's headed home with a healthy 6.0! We did ball joints, tie rod ends, re packed the front axle bearings, all fluids, rear ARB locker, Fox 2.0s from SMB, oil filter relocation, gave it a good once over.

And...... this will be our last 6.0 treatment! Unless its a major resto job we don't want to do them anymore. Changing directions and trying to simplify things here.

Aha! Switchin' to the V10 I guess. Smart move!!!! They don't ever need anything. :D :D :D

Care to elaborate?

About the 6.0s? Too many things that can go wrong, don't want to be "married" to them anymore. As we change things up at the shop its one of the things to be cut from our offered services. But, for any large resto jobs we'll consider it and always take care of our existing and previous customers.

Well I certainly love my V10. And would select one over a 6.0 any day. We haven't done a 6.0 engine job in some time until this one.

No, they don't have that particular application. Bummer because that would be one hell of a brake setup!
That is a bummer! Are the rotors, calipers and pads with your RSC kit readily available (OEM) parts in case of failure in BFE? Or do they have custom Machine work done? I understand the knuckles/spindles are custom just curious about the (wear items)

The rotors and calipers/pads are all over the shelf, easy to replace. Hubs, spindles, knuckles are all from Dynatrac.

Super nice 7.3 van we did last year swung by for our front bumper, Warn VR-12S winch, Rigid 30" combo bar & headlights, general ck up. All is good now when it comes to lighting up the road.

SteelBlue5.4 teardown! Big build. Also shoot the instructional video for the coil swap.
Looking forward to seeing that as im going to be doing my conversion in the next couple weeks.

Regarding your RS002 rear skid system. How much room does this give you in the shelf area? Specifically, how high of an item can you fit back there?

Coming along nicely. The RS002 skid gives you 12" of vertical clearance. EB RS001s have 13.

The little Willys project is done! Quick summary.... a buddies dad pulled it out of a barn (took him 3 days) where it had sat since 1990. He had plans to do something with it, I asked for 1st dibs if he didn't, got the call a few months later. So, we updated everything, got it running, re wired, new brakes/seals/lines, complete fuel system, got it mobilized and safe. The floor was rotten so it was all replaced keeping the rust and crappy looking body as is. New seats, coated the wheels white with new rubber. I'll be keeping it in my fleet of misfits for the occasional drive home and to lunch.
