SpecVan progress! Rear gears are done, swapped it to a factory post since I cannot get an OX right now, will get the job done fine wit the 4.88s. Transmission will be back sometime tomorrow so we can get the t-case/shifter/exhaust done and she'll be mobile! Side steps today and we wrapped up the wiring up front as well as the trailer plug. Still waiting for 2 more tires, 35/12.50/17s are nearly impossible to find right now!

And, I keep calling it the spec van but it's going to be my new DD. I need a van!

CT 7.3 progress, almost done! Should be on the ground nd moving under its own power Monday/Tuesday.

Got the transmission back late Wednesday so it all went together Thursday w/o a hiccup. off to alignment and its back for a few minor touches! Feels great, ready to get some miles on it over the weekend. I;ll shoot a video tomorrow with all of the specs/details.

The trip was a great success! Van pulled the Sherpa no problem and it towed/drove perfectly. Do I wish the 5.4 had more power? OF COURSE! But it got the job done even though this isn't what I built it for.

I really like the DD setups you guys do with the spec vans. I’ve got the 5.4 in my van as well, it gets the job done but I wish it had a little more oomf as well. With the new 7.3 gas coming in the cab chassis and also being offered as a crate motor, it makes me wonder what the possibility of a swap would be.....

VA 6.0 nearing completion, will be mobile tomorrow. Digging the old school polished wheels and white letter BFGs!

We built this van in 2013, still looks great! They stopped by for us to ck/ re pack the front wheel bearings, some side steps and a few other little goodies. Nice to see the vans so many years and miles later!
