Got both exterior fenders done and rear deck plate from the fender to the back. My plan is for sliders to extend toward the front of the trailer but im going to wait till i have the body on and door in place. I was going to do dual tube fender inner and outers but worried now that the tire might rub on the inner if i did that.

What would the advantage of having that inner tube for the fender just increased rigidity? You should be able to squeeze it in there but I cant really tell from this angle. Also I could be wrong but it looks like youre running 35's on the T? If you are you may want to consider running the same on the trailer so you only have to carry 1 spare. I would plan to clear a 35" tire while building even if you aren't running them now.

Rigidity and something for the fender to be mounted to on the other end so i can set whatever on top of it. Your right on the 35's on the T and the trailer tires are also 35's the all terrains are deceiving on the trailer.

Tomorrow i am going to look for steel to cover the fenders maybe a light weight steel diamond plate? Getting my lock n roll hitch xmas. My 7 pin wiring harness is coming soo now i need tail lights and side lights per dmv. Any suggestions on paint? Thinking maybe diy truck bed liner?
Also the axle spindle dust cover is too big for the h3 hub caps soo got to find some low profile ones.

Just a thought, I run the same tires on my truck and on my trailer, with a spare on both. You can't go wrong having two spares! Places like Big Bend SP and NP, flat tires ARE very common and that's not a place to be taking chances in. On my 9 day camping trip last year in BB, two vehicles in our group had flats and another gentleman driving around with a tire puncture came across us and ask if we could air him up.

Ive been kicking around the idea of a spare on the trailer like a swing away setup. I have a onboard air setup on hummer. I would really like to run 35x10.50 if someone made them and narrow the axle a couple more inches.

That would be pretty sweet. Carrying two spares can be a great idea depending on where you are and where you're going. You wouldn't have too many issues with weight hopefully but if you're trying to keep it light a tire repair kit may make more sense.

Well little update been doin alot of finishing welds. Got the lock n roll hitch installed. My biggest problem is that I figured they made somethin that worked with 2x3 tubing. My own fault obviously but added some sided plating to mate the 2.5 hitch to the 2x3 tongue.

it aint goin no where but doesnt look like i want too. Oh well i guess. Anyways I lucked out and found a ************ gun range that had scrap diamond plate sheet metal almost perfect for what i need to cover the fenders. I am picking it up tomorrow and refilling my welding tank. Need to order the vehicle side of the hitch and get it registered!!!
