Funny thing about a trip like this is that before you go there is a long list of mods you want to do...cool stuff like bumpers, lights, and all..
then you come back and realize there are more important things you NEED to do that are boring..like door seals to keep dust out, rattles & squeaks that drive the wife nuts, sound deadening & insulation...boring but important

One of my favorite things about a good on board air setup like the Extreme Outback I have run in the past is using it to blow all the dust out at the end of the day before I go to sleep at night. Makes a big difference in how I feel if the inside is a bit clean
On the rear I will be taking a close look at the body & gate/hatch shapes and then making a run over to Space Age in Mesa as they have the best collection of rubber seals I have seen (if anyone knows of better in the Phx area please tell me).
My thought is to create a 2 sided mating seal.
