Hi everyone!

Im starting my DIY Truck Camper soon and I have most of the design work done. I created a design for the frame which uses 1"x1"x8g and 1"x2"x8g aluminum square tubing. It is a pop top (the roof is not in the image). It will be clad in Signabond aluminum composite panels. It will ride on the bed of my F150 6' bed. The light pink is 1"x2", the lavender is 1"x1" Horizontal, and the Magenta is 1"x1" vertical.

I’m no kind of engineer or camper builder, but FWIW your cantilever for the cab over looks to need more support.

Here’s the only pic I have pre-insulation on my Ovrlnd camper. The edge of the bed is directly over the fulcrum point of the cabover. It’s 1/8 wall square tube. Don’t know what guage. Hope it helps!
