Trapper peak Bitterroot Mountains.

That's inspirational to a guy staring at 64 coming up soon. Would you share what trail your ascent used (if there are more than 1), and what elevation gain was involved. I assume the ascent was in recent days, but please clarify if not.

Nice work!

It's about 4000' in 4.3 miles. We did the trapper peak trailhead trail. I guess the baker lake route is considerably easier. Did it on Saturday. About 3.5 hours up and 2.5 down

Thanks. One of our tougher regular ascents in NC's Blue Ridge Mountains picks up around 2,000' in 3.4 miles. Not sure I have 4,000' in 4.3 miles in my"fuel tank", especially when the 4,000' ends at 10,157'. That's a fine piece of work, Sir!
