Center console update

So it runs level with the camper floor. My hope was to help tie the cap and camper together more. I think it's a success because I really like it in addition to cutting away the back corner of my bench that previously really choked off the crawl through ability.

Is now crawlable again !

Ceiling interior lights finally have power.

And ther center console is all trimmed out.
Feel free to give an opinion. Was goin back and forth with either 3 options.
1. Clear coat the pine trim
2. Stain it with the same Sedona red stain that's on the countertop edging and back splash. (You can see a sample I have there sitting on this side of the console)
3. Painting it. The same color as the rest of the trim and cabinets. The beige creme color

Final LED light strip went in today on the passenger side of the camper. Its the same build design and look as the ones over the counter top.

Finished up with the new coil and Multi spark ignition.

My old coil was out of spec .. so decided to upgrade a bit too.

So I guess theres a monthly limit for pic you can post using Tapatalk. But no big deal.
But there had been a lot at work so far for June. Heres some over all of the camper interior. Which is pretty much finished .
The table does go down to become a bed. 3' x 6'2"

And lot of other hidden things . For example , the lids to both benches are also cornhole boards . The whole medicine cabinet swings out for a small hidden liquor cabinet behind it.
The closet door can open both ways to gain access from either in the truck or standing outside the back door.
And a few other odds and ends. But shes pretty much the finished product in these photos.

As I mention before. This is the 4th time I've torn out to scrap and rebuilt the interior since 2013.. each time trying to improve the design that preceded it. And I think this will be the last time I take on such a task. Time to really enjoy it now

This brings back bad memories but I loved those Toyotas when they were new. The truck was fabulous, engine transmission, frame, ride..... but like you rebuilt the entire interior, that was the bad memory.

Heres one on steriods, for sale right now in Prince George, BC for $5K. Thank god I have a wife to reign in my insanity.

I hear you on that. When I 1st started and took on the project . I could barely read a tape measure . Lol !

But you really do have to be a little on the obsessed side to see it all the way through

A massive EarthRoamer could park on one side, you on the other. I'd be offering you a beer.
Then we'd both go to the guy in the EarthRoamer and ask "Whatcha got to drink?" :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
