Ahhh Crap! Back it goes. Have you found a good price on the 1460TOOL or 1460EMS? The EMS comes 3 trays and a strap that may be handy when lugging it thru the bush.

Sorry, Haven't found a good price on the 1460tool yet.
I'd pass on the EMS w/ strap if I'm loading the box with hand tools

Not really, no. The friend that I described as having done that earlier in this thread did so almost 25 years ago. I'm sure that he isn't the first to have done it either.

very high quality product and very good dealer to work with.
Gilding a lilly? The Action Packers do not have seals to keep out dust and water and the plastic is only moderately strong. Because they are not that strong they cannot take a lot of force from ratchet straps so this $135 exoskeleton is needed? I have action packers inside my offroad trailer but for roof rack duties I just watch Craigslist and pick up large Pelican cases. I think there is already a thread/debate on this forum....yup. theksmith: What kind of socket rails are you using? I have gone through three different kinds and I'm always fishing for sockets at the bottom of my bag.
