We got a late start and just hit the road, about to cross over from MA to CT, arriving in the AM :) Hopefully we can both catch some quality zz's tonight when we're trading time behind the wheel!

OFFICIAL IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR OVERLAND EXPO EAST.

We've had quite a bit of rain and we have had to close the upper camp due to the slick roads and mud.

People who have not arrived yet and have camping passes we have alternate camps or you can find your own (if the latter we'll refund your camping pass).

It should start drying out Saturday and we hope to reopen the upper camping,

Thanks for your patience and working on this with us.

We will not be able to answer questions right now online except once a day so please bear with us, we're actually involved with quite a few recoveries!

It's overlanding at its finest. Everyone is actually fun!

It was a little wet Friday but the weather has been incredibly nice today! The community fire pits maintained by the Taylor Ranch staff were a lot of fun tonight ! I have been very impressed with the courtesy and warmth the staff here. We are having a great time!

Could only make a day trip this year - had a great day-pass time on Sat, browsed the vendors & camps, attended a great advanced-rigging class, and enjoyed an experts' panel w/ a bunch of notables.
Also saw met a number of folks from this board & thesamba.
Yes, it was a bit cold.
Definitely planning to attend full weekend next year w/ family in the Westy.
