Suburban/Tahoe(and GMC) pic/build thread

@CrazyDrei I just went through the hassle of a complete break job because my lines rusted out. Got full stainless steel lines and replaced fuel lines too.

I'd really like to pull the body on mine too and do the same... But at this point it would be more repairs to existing rust holes than redoing the coatings/paint.

I hate salt road treatments with a deep fiery passion.

Here’s my 04 Tahoe Z71 if you’re still looking through trucks.

A modest build I’d say.

I have an 01 Yukon XL 2500, and somewhere found pictures of yours as inspiration for mine. I've yet to begin modifying my rig, but I love your bumpers. Who made them? Also, can you go into detail on your Duramax swap? I've considered swapping mine if I can find a reasonable donor vehicle locally. Seems most of the cheap ones have crazy miles, gotta wait for a clean one to wreck I guess.
@Jacobm

I had a full write up on another forum. I can like here just not sure if thats allowed or not.

I’ll work on crating a post with the write up on it here and I’ll send it over to you. Bumpers are TrailReady. Finally got the winch and lights mounted in the front bumper.

I think I got it copied over here in one piece. Originally the pics were all out of order, but I think I got them all correct now.

Got this done yesterday on a Suburban I've had nearly 4 years. It's an 04 2500 6.0 with right around 160k miles. It has Cognito torsion keys and ProComp 1" blocks in the rear on 285/75/16 BFG KO2's. I'm really please with how it turned out. Not sure what my future plans are for it. Maybe a brush guard and a winch.

It's been in the South its whole life, but my family and I just moved up to Cleveland, OH the week of Thanksgiving. I got it undercoated hoping to keep the rust away in the winter, but we'll see.

Man, I like your Burban's stance. Good clearance without it being hard to get in and out of.

Thanks y'all. I forgot to add that I upgraded to Bilstein 5100s all around.

The stance is perfect for me for now. I have 3 boys (5, 3, and 1) so I don't need anything too hard to get into.

Here's my 2007.

New Eibach shocks all around for now (to replace the air-ride equipment. Probably upgrade to Bilstein 5100'2 eventually). @ inch level in the front. 1.5inch coil spacer real with HD Coils. Level 8 wheels. with 34" Falkens. Trimmed front bumper. Drawer/sleeping platform in the back. Much more to come soon.

Has anyone ever had much luck with switching out bucket seats for a bench in the 00-06 years? I was told by a GM mechanic that the bolt pattern is the same and it should work, but I personally and mechanically impaired.
