I was just telling my wife. "A man can never have too many clamps"

Looking good btw

Ain't that a fact.
I view them the same as boats, guns, fishing rods, or any other tool.
It ain't never enough, the trick is conveying that to the bride!!!
Thank you

Testing drawer and slide out.
I think I like it just fine.
Now to make some filler panels that cover where the slide out is to extend the sleeping area.
They will nest on top of the drawer when not in use and serve as counter space as well.
Coming along nicely.

Very nice work! I am currently contemplating version 2.0 of my platform and drawer assembly and am focused on sheding some pounds: how would you rate the difficulty of the stitch and glue method for the 'average joe' woodworker?

Thank you,
I would not rate it any more difficult than any other wood working.
Just a little different.
West system and system 3 epoxy companies have a ton of info on their websites to read and see if it is for you.
There is also a lot of boat building sites that have gobs of info.
If you are looking to reduce weight I feel this is a fine way to go.
Just be ready to spend more money on materials and more labor hours by quite a little.
Hope this helps

After feeling the deflection of the cooler slide out after crawling in and out, I glassed the underside of it to stiffen it up some.
