I have one mounted on/inside my lil' trailer's spare tire. It holds about 2 gallons of water, and is very accessible.

I've doing a ton of research into this lately, and I'm surprised no company has made a solution to fill this need.
It seems like such a good idea for adding a water tank to any pickup.

It's a shame the one solution from Trail'd is only 6 gallons, when they explicitly say you can stack three of them in the space of the regular spare.

If they had a $300 tank that was already that same thickness (and therefore around 18 gal), that would be so much more useful.

I wonder what their rationale is for making a tank that's only 1/3 of the available space.. ?

Has anyone found any other "spare tire" water tanks ?
