Hey all,

I am putting a feeler out there as I am contemplating selling my turnkey rig that I spent a year planning and building out. It is an amazing and very capable set-up with flexibility of still using the truck, well, for truck stuff while being able to go anywhere...

We are moving to Denver (truck is currently there), and with the kids getting older and my wife wanting to come on more trips it just makes sense to get something with more space and that is capable of towing heavy (fifth wheel / Toy Hauler) and can also accommodate a slide-in style camper...

No expense was spared in this build. The work done was all exceptionally and everything is overbuilt. The list of items completed is too long to outline here. If / when I get more serious in selling, or recieve a serious inquiry, I will provide a more complete list.

I have a handful of outings in it ranging from 2-5 nights and can tell you that it is as comfy as you can get. From low teens to summer highs it maintains a great temperature inside and has fantastic airflow when needed. It got down to nearly 10 degrees one night and the stayed consistent at a toasty 71 degrees just fine.

PRICE: I have put more than $270K into the rig, so somewhere in the $250K range is what I am aiming for. Remember, this is the highest quality build that is fully turn-key and ready to roll to Alaska tomorrow if you wanted to. No need to wait 6-9 months for a build slot.

Prefer to sell as a package but will separate if needed. Serious inquiries only please. If interested shoot me a DM here or call/text at: 650-690-1462.

Hey, what engine is this 3500 running? Thanks, Jack

Hey Jack, thanks for calling that out. It is the High Output (6.7L I6 Cummins HO Turbo Diesel Engine) with the Aisin AS69RC HD 6–Speed Automatic Transmission. Here is a snap of the Monroney sticker.

Any idea what your total payload is when you leave on a trip fully loaded, water gas gear etc, not including the dirt bike. How much of a buffer does that leave you with.

Did you regear from the 3:73 gears when you went to 38” tires?
Thanks.

Hi Wakeup2river, I run within spec fully loaded. Being fully built (over built) and having the tanks full with gear driving at 75 mph the truck is solid and extremely comfortable to drive. When driving up to Bend, or there are stretches where I would hit really heavy crosswinds in the winter. The truck would not jolt off track. Don't get me wrong, you can feel the crosswind with the camper on it, but it doesn't cause sweaty palms even at 55-60mph in high wind situations like other rigs I have driven or with a fifth wheel behind you. I also think the wheel offset helps with the wider stance to help offset the lift. Much of the weight is low on the belly of the truck.

Payload for the truck is: 3,734 with GVWR being 12,300

Camper is: 1,880 lbs
Fuel: 560 lbs
Water: 316 lbs (this is full but I usually don't fill it up completely)
Gear: 400 lbs (overestimating as I usually carry tools)
Passengers: 500 lbs (including kids)
TOTAL: 3,656 lbs roughly

I do not hesitate taking my whole family on a remote backcountry camping trip for days in this truck. The fail safes I have built into it give peace of mind even if there were to be a tricky situation.

Have not regeared or felt the need to regear with the 38's. No gear hunting issues and the combination of tow/haul mode with the exhaust brake has been fantastic. I can be going down a steep grade with exhaust brake on and never have to touch the brake pedal.

Hope that helps.

Wanted to post a few more pictures of some of the custom work that was done to mount the rear winch (to the chassis) and the air horn system. I also wanted to show the rear electrical compartment (Driver front underbed storage box) that houses rear winch disconnect, Rear distribution block, air compressor and switch plus ample storage for air up/down tools, hoses, fittings, etc. Threw in a couple of the awning and shower cube. Oh and the SwitchPro module located inside the camper as well.

Hey Jack --- No locking diffs, limited slip in the rear.

I really have not had the need to lock even while on some slippery rocks. I was able to easily reposition and get through in several situations.

Pretty sure ARB makes a locker for the front 9.25" pumpkin though am not sure if the 11.5" rear is out yet. The compressor is already onboard so that would be a simple addition to the system.

Thanks,
Alex

Well it's been a few weeks and the family is fully moved into our home in Denver. What a whirlwind it's been, we're super happy to be here and getting settled. Thank you all for your patience with my responses, as well as, the difficulty in scheduling some showings during the move out here.

Unfortunately for me, fortunately for someone else, I just had a buyer back out due to financial reasons and thus updating the post with a few fresh requested pics. Would be happy to meet interested buyers throughout Denver and halfway (within reason) with validation of ability to make a purchase.

The truck just got back last week from being fully serviced. All fluids, oil and filters changed, and a full detail. She looks absolutely gorgeous!

As some of you have requested here are some updated interior pics, likely in two posts.

The only modifications made to the interior are the Switch Pro pod on the top of the center dash, the control module for the auxiliary fuel tank on the left side of steering column, and a Molle panel just below the driver's seat where I keep a spare flashlight, knife and other items trip that are dependant.
