Truck Backstory
After owning a Defender 110, Unimog 416, Volvo C303, Stewart and Stevenson M1078 I decided to go with something fast and efficient with ample mechanical support and easily available parts. Basically a lighter weight modern Unimog. After much research I sought a 2005–2007ish Mitsubishi Fuso FG. Turned out they are very hard to find for a couple key reasons. (no def, manual gearbox)
The Fuso platform is also used as a base truck by renowned manufacturers such as:
We didn’t like most campers on the market due to their boring, ugly, dark wood interior decor. Finding a camper with bright, clean lines and smart open spaces was difficult and very expensive, we typically them found them in $250+ builders like ATW, Earthcrusier and XP.
Oliver Legacy Elite is essentially the “Airstream of fiberglass trailers” clean aesthetic and high quality. Borrowing lots of inspiration from the Yacht world. There are several other fiberglass trailers on the market that look very similar (Casita, Scamp, Bollo) however their materials, constructions and craftsmanship do not compare. Have a look for yourself.

We’ve made some great memories with 100’s of trips spanning 3 years. Both traveling and performing a lot of hauling on a complete home remodel. Motivation for sale is to help fund for our new home. In the end “Oliver Fuso” reminds me of the Giving tree story.
In the beginning Ollie brought us out to Central Oregon and enabled us to explore and discover amazing locations ultimately leading to a high dessert hideaway home we wanted to invest time/money and remodel.
In the middle of our Ollie adventures, we deployed the camper providing a warm and dry temporary home as we tackled a very very messy and tiring remodel. The Fuso truck became our heavy duty hauler enabling us to dispose of all demo materials and bring in supplies.
In the end Ollie will leave us with many unforgettable memories as well as help to pay for the completion of our new home.
