2010 Lexus GX460 Premium model.
I sought out specifically this model GX460 / Prado 150 for the color and factory offerings of rear adjustable air bags knowing I’d keep that capability. I wanted the heated steering wheel option and cooling /heated front and rear seats. Purchased from a dealership in Kentucky fully stock, very clean, and well taken care of all its life, I drove it straight to the mountains of Virginia. Enjoying its capabilities fully stock. From there home to Michigan where the fit out began.. to where it stands today. This truck is ready to take anyone anywhere with ease and comfort. Not an issue. It has every factory option that was offered. Fully serviced always from Lexus.
Add ons-
-Factory side steps where removed for a pair of Toyota OEM Prado side moldings and front splash guards that were imported in from Australia.
-ARB Toyota Prado Summit bar was sent over and right away sent to the dealership body shop to be color coded, then back to be fitted. Other ARB options like their large LED fog lights w/ covers, winch mount, and a pair of ARB recovery points were fitted all together. A Warn VR10-S was then installed as well. (Never used)
-ARB Baserack rails were imported from Australia and fitted to the roof along with tripe black extruded cross bars fitted to them.
-ARB Toyota Prado Safari snorkel was imported from Australia and fitted.
-Suspension- Next sent over across the puddle was a Air Bag man rear 2” longer airbag suspension kit- All factory switches and all work as if nothing has been done. ARB BP51 fully adjustable Suspension was fitted to all 4 corners. To complete everything a pair of SPC front upper adjustable control arms were installed w/ greasable rubber bushings.
-Toyota OEM Black steel wheels were mounted w/ Brand new 265/70/17 BF Goodrich KO2 tires.
-On the interior- The third row seating was swapped out (still have) for a Drifta Australia platform w/ single drawer. Goose gear Tie Down points for a fridge were installed.
-Kaon rear cargo barrier and shelf was sent over and installed.
The truck currently is sitting at 180k miles. Everything is like new. Everything works , not an issue known.
