SOLD:

Hello,

2017 144, 2500, high roof, Crew van, 4x4, 22k miles (approx), 50K Factory warranty until Aug 2022. I’m the original owner.

I bought this Sprinter new, with the intention of building it out in-time to go on the road full-time for my planned retirement in 2019. A promotion at work means I plan to delay that retirement for another 4 years so the van sits in my driveway M-F, unless I go on a road trip. The miles are all from cross country trips, as well as a few up and down the east coast.

My set up is pretty humble but comfortable: An RB Components fold-out bed / sofa. It sleeps two adults when at its maximum width, double as a sofa and can fold flat against the wall. I strap down a Dometic 50L fridge that and use the installed L-track to hang my duffle bags etc. The maxxair fan is powered by a flexopower lithium power pack (or the van's 12v outlets). I bought custom insulated curtains for all the windows, these double as blackout and insulation. The difference they make is remarkable. I also recently picked up an insulated curtain that divides the front cab from the back of the van. I use magnetic hooks to hang various kitchen items inside; such as a small folding table (pictured below).

The driving lamps are a huge upgrade when driving at night. And the kenwood / Garmin head unit I had installed recently is light-years ahead of the ancient factory unit. It integrates with the back-up camera, has Apple carplay as well as built in garmin maps for the US and Canada.

below is a list of what I’ve done so far (from memory):

I just returned from a couple of weeks in Florida where I mixed it up between stealth and state parks. I’ve driven from NJ to WA with stops in Yellowstone, Grand Teton along the way. The most off roading the van has seen is on BLM fireroads. I live 45 minutes from Newark Liberty or a 10 minute walk from the Seastreak NYC ferry.

Thanks for looking.

You can just about see my typical set-up here: Back bench removed, fridge and outdoor rug. Dog's bed between the two seats.

Hello,
As for trades: I'm partial to KTM adventure bikes or a well sorted LR4, LR3 or RRC (I'll need SOME sort of 4x4 once this sells)

And some interior pictures from this morning:

When I travel I often put the window covers over the rear wall space and then move back to the windows when parked up for the night. Between the covers and the partition it creates a very comfortable and private little cocoon.
