SOLD

So it pains me to do this, given the time and money spent getting this far, but ultimately it’s not really quite what I want. It’s a one off job, and really just needs a few things to be done.

It needs the following:

-new brass bushing installed on driver side swing out (I have the part)
-vibration pads on each swing out so that the latches lock up tight
-sandblast and paint (I was going to use Line X)

It has the following built in:

-spare tire carrier on the passenger side (fits 8x170mm super duty wheels)
-water or gas (or diesel) can basket and propane platform on the driver side Swing out, and also an integrated ladder (great if you have a camper)
-uses heavy duty slam latches from Southco
-Iron Pig Offroad spindles with grease zerks (better than many of the typical heavy duty trailer spindles)
-integrated heavy duty hitch receiver
-integrated recovery points tied to frame attachment rails
-hole cutouts for Rigid Ignite LEDs (not included)
-cutouts for Factory trailer light plugs

Should fit 1999 to 2004 Ford F250, F350 Super Duty pickups, and probably all the way to 2007 (maybe more).

Will need to be picked up, and a few strong people to help lift it. It’s currently installed on the truck - it’ll be uninstalled when a serious buyer shows up.

A comparable bumper would run close to $3500 before paint, and no manufacturer currently builds anything like this. The closest would be from Aluminess and Buckstop for the dual swing out setup.

Be interested in knowing what it would take to mod for a 2009? Looks solid and I've been looking for awhile :(

How much lower is it than stock? Any idea on weight?
Hey there - it’s probably 2” lower than stock, but that includes the integrated hitch receiver, so it actually clears better than the OEM receiver. And it would be a guess, but heaving it around would make me think it’s close to 200lbs with the swing outs. Taking the swing outs off for install is 100% the way to go though.

You know that’s a good question. So many of the Super Duties seemed to keep similar beds and frames, but I’m not knowledgeable enough on anything beyond the 2007 models. That might be something one of the Super Duty or Ford Truck forums would know though...

Just off the top of my head, if the frame rails were the same width, then modifying it to fit would be straight forward if you had a torch and welder, assuming the body lines on the bed and tailgate lined up...
