Hello All,

Together with my wife, we have decided to work remotely full time, and therefore we are thinking of selling our beloved Tacoma OR swap it with a setup with more space.

The platform is a 2019 Tacoma DCSB TRD OFF Road, automatic, with all the options. The vehicle is now in Prescott (AZ), where we are currently living.

The AluCab canopy camper was installed by OK4WD in September 2020, and all the rest of the overland build happened afterward. We have done quite a bit ourselves, apart from those modifications where we thought to rely on Summit 4x4 here in Prescott, and the suspensions in particular. We have spent close to $90,000 so far. The truck has 47,500 miles, and modifications are essentially new. For example, we just received brand new parts for the storage boxes inside, and we still have to mount them. In short, if we can get a reasonable offer or an intriguing possible swap (with a difference in cash if necessary), we will move ahead, otherwise, we will keep it.

We have all receipts and photos of the build, and we will be happy to pass them to the new owner. In the meantime, please feel free to follow v-adventures on Facebook or Instagram for an overview.

Thanks for your interest.

Hi, Larry, thanks for the interest. Your Ford is really a nice setup. However, we still want something with a bit more offroad capabilities.

Many thanks again,
Antonio

Many thanks! Yes, we love our build, and judging from the number of people stopping us while on the road, we are not the only ones!

Really nice, Whats the weight of the whole setup loaded and ready to roll?
Hi there, I have never managed to find a place to check the weight, and I know I should do it. The only reference I have is from OK4WD. They have a very similar setup on a long bed, and with ARB bumpers (notoriously super heavy), and their build is in the range of 6,000 lbs. Depending on intended use, there are some opportunities to get rid of some weight. For example, the water purification system is a bit of an overkill here in the USA. Likewise for the Maxtrax and the GP Factor mount. For mild use, no need ... but they look great behind the rig! I must admit the BP51 + Dakar leaf springs are really a game-changer and a must for these extended builds.

Just curious....Does small heater do an adequate job of heating the camper? I assuming the warm air rises and makes the underside of the bed toasty:). Nice build! If you are interested in a 200 series, holler:). GLWS

I would consider something around $75,000 to $80,000, OBO.

Thank you.
I’m thinking about downsizing. My Sprinter is expedition ready. 50 gallons of water in a baffled tank. Shower, cassette toilette, propane heater, hot water and two burner stove. Agile RIP, winch, Aluminess bumpers KO2s 17” method wheels 200 ah LifEPo4 batts. 360 watts solar on roof.4.6 cu drawer refridge. Tons of storage inside. Floor to ceiling pantry. Cabs all down the interior above the bed. Just did the CDT with Jeep’s and a e 350 and had no problem keeping up. Just didn’t do the Alpine loop.. Not sure how much I can get for it because it is a one off design with a queen bed that sleeps north south so you don’t crawl over each other to get up and pee. Also ton of storage in the garage. I designed it as a fly fishing off grid vehicle. If you are thinking of living in it full time it would be ideal.

Worth about $20k-30k more than this tacoma- with todays market.
