FOR SALE: 2011 R-Pod 181-G
Location: Lincoln, Nebraska
Description:
Good Condition R-Pod. Has rear "garage", wet bath. Weights about 2800lbs dry (if I am remembering correctly) so you can tow it with even small vehicles.
The Good:
-No known Leaks
-All electrical systems work (LED lights throughout)
-AC works
-All plumbing works
- Propane stove works - and has outside QD attachment for other propane things.
-Furnace should work, never been used. Previous owners taped it shut because wasps built a nest in there. Never needed it so never cleaned it out.
- PO also removed fridge and microwave, so there is a 110v mini fridge in there right now (can take it out if not wanted).
- New tires as of 6 months ago
- 2.5" lift kit installed last year
- Comes with electrical hookup cables/adapters and dump station tubes
- Comes with stabilizer jacks
- Comes with spare tire
- Decent memory foam mattress that was cut to fit
- All locks work properly
- Interior is very clean and in good shape, we detailed this thing very good when we purchased it.
-Slide out works great, and can be opened manually if any issues arise.
-Interior and exterior sound system work great and are a nice touch.
The Not so Good:
- Was previously wrapped (each side) and stickers front and back. Not all of it has been removed (I got lazy).
- Exterior is dirty - once again I haven't felt like detailing the exterior.
- Fenders are dinged up - not sure how? They were like that when I bought it. Effects nothing but worth noting.
- PO cut a hole from the inside to the "garage" - unsure why but I covered it with ply from the inside, you can see the hole from the garage though.
- The countertop in the rear has a crack (I need to get more pictures) and forest river never got back to me on a replacement. I was planning on just mounting some plywood back there and calling it good.
- Since the PO took out the fridge, I sealed the vents up with some closed cell foam. I haven't sanded and painted it yet so it's not pretty but is functional.
Price: $6500 $5500OBO Would consider trading for FWC Hawk, Raven, or similar (particularly shell models).
Why am I selling? I want to build something. I thought about tearing this all down just to use the trailer frame and some electrical components, but would rather start from scratch. Besides, it would be a waste to tear down a camper in this good of condition. The sale of this will fund a slide in truck camper build.
Let me know if you have questions or want other pictures. It is being stored at the moment, but I plan on getting it to my house and getting more detail pictures when the schedule allows for it.
