Howdy, Tiger Fans - Due to life changes, I have to part ways with my gem of a Tiger. Please check out all the details on the rig here:

sacramento.craigslist.org/rvs/d/martell-2004-custom-tiger-cx-4wd-chevy/7321222517.html

If interested, please respond via email to the Craigslist ad. Thanks!

5-14-21 P.S. FYI, my Tiger model is not a Bengal, which I just learned is the taller TX model that Provan Tiger Adventure Vehicles started producing about 12 years ago. I removed Bengal from the title of this post & will see if I can get it changed in the Craigslist link. 5-15-21 update: Success. CL link updated.

I have sister tiger to this one. #1023 same engine and drivetrain but 2005. I was hesitant of the 8.1 originally but it's a great engine paired to a great transmission in this setup. We have been extremely happy with our Tiger so far. Hope this one finds a good home.

Very nice.

What is your MPG @ 65 MPH?

Love these vehicles, but don’t know much about them.
Were they offered in a 3500?

Ca. 12-13 MPG at 65. The Tiger CX models have been custom built one by one by Provan Tiger Adventure Vehicles in S. Carolina per the specs of individual buyers. So, there certainly could be a Tiger CX out there on a 3500 chassis, just not this one I'm selling. TAV has a website & FB page if you'd like to check out more about the rigs in general. I just learned that the shorter-in-height Tiger CX models were discontinued 10-12 years ago & that TAV has only produced the taller Bengal TX models since that time, thus the reason I removed Bengal from the title of this post.

My 2500hd is built on an incomplete Chevy chassis nearing the single rear wheel stats for 3500 on paper if you compare. I'm closer to 10mpg with larger tires than stock and moderate 2" lift. The 8.1 Allison combo was an option for GMC products from early 2000s to discontinued in maybe 2008? What I also like with 8.1 if you have an engine problem it is half the cost of the Duramax for replacement but carriers the same life rating as the Duramax 250k miles.

Zip: The 8.1 is in 2500-5500 series GMC trucks maybe some other applications I'm not aware of in medium duty lines.

FYI. Tiger CX and Bengal option where offered until about 2015. Buyer had a choice and the Bengal won out in most orders so the CX height was dropped. My 2013 is a CX on a Ram 3500HD. 1 ton truck build platforms won out over 3/4 tons around '07. My Cumins Turbo Diesel MPG is 13/14 @ 65MPH. I mostly flat tow a Wrangler now days and 12/13 @ 55 MPH is common. I have put 68K miles on my Tiger, love it.

FWIW MPG......1995 Tiger, Chevy K2500, 5.7, 4L60e, 190K @ 65mph, 11-12 mpg..........smiles per gallon? UNLIMITED!

Btw, seems like a good deal given the prices today.
