What am I missing

Hello folks, am I missing something here? I think this is way nicer that a $50 sportsmobile. (No offense intended to you sportsmobile guys)
But, I don't see any comments or interest here.
Thanks

It's also much heavier, taller, bigger in general, with DRW's

I like the clean roof with tons of room for solar

Its more of an earthroamer kind of vehicle.

That's cool!! the problem I see with older expensive vehicles(not saying it's not worth it) is that many people don't have 30-40k laying around, and it's too old for a loan from most banks(10 year max)
I would love to have it.

True for vehicles, but it's technically it's an RV which would have different financing. They fall more toward home financing rules than regular auto loans.

I'm with you. I'd take that over a sportsmobile any day of the week. IMO, overpriced for what they are. If it were just me and the wife I'd be all over yours. Good luck with it.

Yes, generally 15 years is doable for an RV. Doesn't help on this, though, but I like this thing.

And I don't think comparisons to Sportsmobiles are apt.. other than the van front, they are two very different beasts.

I think its great, and a decent price too. Born free are one piece fiberglass for those who don't know. IE no leaking problems. I am jealous of the rear overhang.... Mine is way longer. Someone pick this up, dont let the size scare you off, they are way fun.
