The aluminum tape trick on the adjustable legs worked like a champ. I did take some fine sandpaper to the inside of the outter leg-tube to "deburr" the detent holes. After some tweaking the wobble is almost nonexistent.

Thanks for responding. I played around a bit with different amounts and layers, but it would eventually catch and peel off the outer layer while extending them out. Both rolls of Al tape I have are from past projects, so I may just buy a new roll and see if the adhesive might have been too old. I'll have to work on the inside of the detent holes, as that may be what is catching the tape. Also going to try applying it to the outside of the inner leg, instead of the inside of the outer leg.

Stunning work as usual Yuman Desert Rat (y)

Lennart, thanks brother! I've been away from the machine for far too long. It felt good to create again. Even though my arm is killing me from hours of continuous work.. lol

I know this is probably sacrilegious, but I just finished this case last night. Its for my PDW Knife/cutting board set. Its like the Snow Peak variant, but on steroids with 2 knives

I only needed 1 layer with no overlap. It took a while. The lower hole us the hard part. Im going to do some further tinkering (when I get a chance) to perfect the process...

90 second video of some of Snow Peak’s newest gear. It’s not a thorough review or anything. I was filming my trip to Odaiba and this was a small part of that trip. Gave me a chance to try out my new Osmo Pocket video camera. :)

I actually haven't tried this yet; just got some tape a few days ago. But it seems to me trying to fit the tape on the inside of the outer leg is a heck of alot harder than putting it on the outside of the inner leg. Thanks for the heads up on filing the detent holes...
