    All done

Mod 3 - Installed used WK sliders (sandblasted and PC), used shrock rear bumper, volant (12470) total PITA, and snorkel

If I had to do this over again I would modify the box before I started installing. Install came out good.... but, there was a lot of fussing and cussing
    [IMG]

Here are some photos of the amazing time I had trying to fit this square into a circle.

I did perform a melt mod to the area that touches the brake lines. Unfortunately the pics don't show much.

Reason Why opted for a snorkel is this pic. And the sandy desert air when trailing other rigs.

Admittedly, drilling holes in the fender was scary at first. Honestly, nothing to worry about. The holes are way oversized and do not require perfection for a clean install.

    Sealing it up
    [IMG]

Riveted the adapter on. A must do before installing the box. It is a very, very tight. I had to gently bend brake lines and an AC hose to get it in there.

Note: The newer model Volant is easier to install. However, it has a gigantic hole in front of the box by the horn that most would want to seal. The 05 version (12470) is already sealed.

Mod 4 - Hefty front bumper and aluminum skids. Took 7 months from time of purchase to get these. At the time Hefty stopped offering options for this bumper. Can't get full cage they only make it one way now.

Future installers - Be sure to check all items at FedEx before you sign. I was missing a bracket for the gas tank skid. Hefty promptly shipped new ones to me.

My best friend (da pup) likes the new bumper. Wrapped up the install during the super bowl.

Mod 5 - Max Gear roof rack install Thank you Dave (Maxterra)

The green bag is a Gazelle T4 pop up tent. Its commonly bought for way less on other sites.

    The box

Raingler Net is the DepHep model. Works fine. Use ratchets and bungees for smaller loads

What happens when you mount your shock skids properly. You make custom extended automatic disconnecting shocks
    :)
    :D

Basically my skids were installed with just the lower shock mounting bolt. I didn't drill a hole to mount a bolt to the diff's shock mount to keep it from flipping and snapping my shock in half. $240 lesson learned. Don't do what I did here.

See a problem here? How the heck do you get air in these with the rash guards on? Oh, Black Rhino engineers screwed up. Will have to cut a half moon shaped hole with a pincel grinder in the bash rings so I can inflate/deflate my tires. Dammit man.

Also impact socket wouldn't fit to install lugs. Have to use regular sockets. In addition to shaving the calipers. So.....yeah.

2 of them used a lot of weight. 7oz. Other 2 were 2-3 oz. Not bad. Not the best. They were road forced.

Still need to reinstall the wheel well liners, sliders, and bedline the edges I cut the fender. Probably put door edge guard over the fender cut offs has well. Too bad the bending idea didn't work. But honestly, in person I like it better with just the straight cut. Fenders can easily be popped back out when they get dented.
