I finally got some photos of the pop top interior, before the new owner drove the old rig away.

I also figured I’d throw in a photo from a Tacoma flatbed that I’ve been tinkering with lately.

I also made a build thread for the 4Runner with more and better photos.

Did you have issues with the JL?

Yep. Never could get it to drive straight. Even after spending hundreds upon hundreds on aftermarket steering parts. Instrument Cluster completely died on me at 16k. The Jeep dealers around me sucked. Then shortly after that fix my charging system was screwing up on the start stop battery. It wasn't charging the secondary battery. Bottom line the electronics in the Jeep just sucked. Also being a daily driver and living in an area where 15-20mph winds are constant, that brick of a vehicle in terms of aerodynamics just sucked on the highway. The wind noise in the cab was unbearable. It sucked because the motor and transmission on the new JL's is really peppy. It really moves. Much better than the transmission on the Taco. But I'd rather have more reliability.
