Bought a pair of 100's that were salvaged as water damaged before and had zero issues, but I did tear them down completely and inspect everything. ECU's were fine but the upholstery needed some attention.

i take it that you sold them? im sure there are many factors with flood damaged vehicles it just sounds like a nightmare to me

It absolutely can be and your concerns are well founded. Each was turned into a dedicated trail rig which lessened many punchlist concerns. The new ones will hopefully make at least one road worthy vehicle that will end up as a ute chop. But in the end that is all academic until I actually lay hands on them. Now, keeping with the spirit of the thread.
