I've always been fond of the Access Cab as well. If I were to build out a late model Tacoma it would certainly be an Access Cab. We don't have kids and the back seat in the Double Cab is still a joke for full grown adults so it's not like we are missing out on much there either. I look forward to seeing what you do with it.I recently bought a '19 Tacoma. I'm actually surprised with myself that I didn't buy a Gladiator, being a Jeep guy? But, had bought a 2018 4Runner Limited for the wife, which is awesome, and I kept looking at the Tacomas? Plus, what I like is it being an extended cab, 6 ft. bed, rear locker, technology package, for a great price! Yeah, Toyota build quality was also of mind, and as well that I highly dislike my local Jeep dealer.
Anyway, it's fun to drive! I'm not exactly sure what I want to do with it, with its payload of 1140#s? I really like the access cab, and I just didn't need the rear seats in the double-cab.
We'll see what happens?
