I have those same TV trays :D
I eat on one just about every night.

They were my parents, I think they are 25 years old or so.

I bought the Kermit chairs primarily for the size they break down to for transport. I have to think almost backpack size for my gear as space is limited in my Jeep. I was very suprised at the comfort they offer and recommend them highly. The customer service is second to none by the way, nice people in our country too.

I also recommend the Kermit chair. The comfort is outstanding and I have a bad back. The compact storage is an added bonus for any vehicle. I also have the extension legs that put the chair at table height. Unless you can afford to step up to a Roorkhee chair the Kermit is as good as it gets.

Hey

I just bought one of these chairs from Bass Pro Shops for $29.99. They have a high back and solid arm rests, which make them easy to get out of, and they take up no more room than a normal bag chair. Its' comfortable and solid for my 5' 11" 275lbs frame.

I like it real well and will buy another one.

Do you have dimensions of that folded up? I like the looks of that, and especially the price.
Thanks!

Well, I took the plunge.
I ordered the Cabelas Chaise Lounger.
They are having a sale right now, so I took advantage of it.

It has some pretty good reviews on the website, with only a few negative one.
I went for the x lrg one to have some more wiggle room.
This one here if you can truly relax/sleep in it during the day, I may just bring it instead of that lounger in my first post.

For the money this looks good.
My lead was buying two if the REI loungers at a higher price.
Here are the ones he was going to get after work yesterday.

They both look identicle almost, but are really a copy of the more expensive Lafuma ones.

If you have the opportunity would you mind sharing a comparison/review between the Cabelas and REI chairs when they are delivered.

Will do.
I will not be able to try the REI one, but when my Cabelas one arrives in a week or so, I will take it to work to have my lead there try it out, and compare it to his REI one.

Not sure how this folds down, I am hoping though I can cram it in the rig.
I am reorganizing my gear this year, last year it was full to the rafters almost :D
I tend to take more than I actually need.

Cory, I have a bad back as well as Sciatica, I cannot say enough good about the Kermit Chair, Pricey, but storage is nil, comfortable as all get out and very sturdy with arms. Be sure and order the legs extensions as well, they are great.

I have heard of the Kermit ones, they are pretty nice.

Well, I will not be able to compare my soon coming Cabelas one to my leads REI one.
He ended up taking a long drive down to the Lacy, WA. Cabelas store this weekend, and he bought two of the blue loungers like the black one I ordered.

He says it is not quite as heavy duty as the one REI has, but it is very nice.
He got the cases for them too, which I forgot to order.
But he really likes the Cabela ones.

Speaking of bad backs, here are two chairs which I managed to destroy within 12 hours while on oxycodene (with a couple of beers) for my back. Instead of sitting in the chairs, I fell into them. Lesson learned.

i actually prefer the lafuma chairs just a bit. the one issue i have with theses style of chairs Vs 4 way folds are the amount of room the take up in a rig. my dad has 2 lafuma's and 2 cabelas. they are very comfy. i bought some rei 4 way folds with the heavy duty metal arms and i love them. plus they are half the price
