seanpistol's 01 Tundra

The guy that bought it texts me with questions, updates and photos. He said it drove for the first time last week, with a supercharger and bypass shocks in the front. I think all he has left is to build a new front bumper, get his hydro bumps on, and install the MCM cantilever in the rear. I'd like to see the Facebook photos as well, but I'm not willing to get Facebook.

And to answer your question, Wasatch - diesel life is great! I enjoy daily driving a ~450 horse ~1000 ft lb 6-speed with a solid front axle that gets 20 mpg on 37s! :D Just turned 200k and replaced my steering box with a RedHead and it's now just about as tight as the Tundra was. Added a fuel pressure gauge to the A pillar, a lightbar in the front bumper, and all 1/2" fuel lines from the sump to the injection pump. Next project is an airplane... keeping my eye out for a Mooney M20C to purchase in the spring.

What it's supercharged??? Looks like it went to the right person. It's gonna be a beast once done

Look out how much available travel there is. What is that, like 18 inches until the front tire contacts the fender?? This thing was awesome before the wreck, and from the looks of it will be incredible when finished. I'm now suffering from major truck jealousy.

Hey Everybody!

I've posted a couple times on the thread.

Get ready for pictures.

I am one of Chris' (new tundra owner) good friends, he got back from the middle east last wednesday and we took it up to Wyoming for a shake down run this weekend with a few other friends!

Hundreds of hours and sleepless nights were put into getting Humpty (rightfully named by chris) back on the road again! Noah Taylor headed the project and all the major fab work and stored the tundra for 7 months while chris was over seas. I was over there as much as I could, Brandon Maugn, Eric Porter, Cydney Delli, Dan Cressall, Geoffery Beers and a handful of others made this truck come back to life from the goodness of their heart and helping a freind out!

I was able to be one of the ones at the shop the night he got back to SLC and see the smile on his face when he drove his freshly rebuilt tundra out the bay doors and that made it worth it right there!

We will be installing the rest of the major suspension parts

-MCM rear cantilever
-ADS rear 10" 3.0 dia quadrupple bypass shocks
-Front and rear 2.125" ADS hydraulic bumpstops
-Deaver C27HD leaf pack
-Sprung under kit
-New shackles

this weekend at Toby Harveys shop in Cedar city and hopefully tuning the suspension saturday-sunday in the sand hollow area. If anybody would like to come and hang out or play with suspension stuff, let me know!
