Does anyone know where I can get a fuel can spout for a sceptor military fuel can

If you find any I would like a couple too. I have six fuel cans and only one spout. I'm sure the cans will outlast the spout.

When I was in Idaho Falls, ID back in late Nov/08..there was a camping store (biggest in town) that a bunch of them for $10-15...so I would suggest to check out large camping stores in your areas or check with Scepter (http://www.scepter.com/) and find distributors in your area. Good luck w/ that - every site I"ve checked that formerly carried the MFCs has disconitued selling the accessories for them as well. Sooooo glad to have ordered mine just under the wire, even w/ the outragous shipping. Choices now are getting down to friend in Canada or military enlistment.

It seems that now in the USA you can´t buy any of the Scepter Fuel cans or accessories becuase of the new laws their implementing. I seen a couple of website that sell them but only for military purpose.

I don't live in the USA but I was searching on the web for a couple of scepter diesel cans that I wanted to purchase and found all this info on CARB fuel cans and how they are replacing all the scepter cans and wedco jerry cans on the USA market. No a good news. So well to keep my story short I turn to Canada and found this website https://dstactical.com/ that offers scepter fuel cans (gasoline, water and diesel plus spouts). The only thing is that Scepter Products Can Only Be Shipped Within Canada so you can take road trip or do what I'm about to do buy it online and have it shipped to a friend in Canada and then he or she can send it to you. The guy I talked to confirmed that MWC sales to the 'States are no problem, but they're out of the blue cans in all sizes with no word on more...

As the spouts get more scarce, you might consider using a Super Siphon or Safety Siphon. I know a lot of folks here use them with their fuel cans.

One member (Fergie?) even came up with a nice solution to make the siphon more efficient using some PVC pipe IIRC, to keep the flexible hose from curling away from the bottom of the fuel can.

Just another option...

I dont know about the Stainless one but I am using the long copper one that I soldered a unleaded spout off one of the cheap chinese ones I had around. It works real nice!

I got the black which is what I wanted. I found another place though that had tan and green. Haven't seen any blue ones though, sorry. Keep an eye on these places

For the water cans you can get them for $16 including shipping from buylci.com. Find them in thier Tactical section. They come in tan or green. They do have "property of the US government on side".

Thanks for posting the link. It seems like you have to order a minimum $50 from them, which would be 4 water cans, since I don't see anything else on their site I can claim I need.

He sells on here as well. He pm'd me a price on some cans that was even higher than his ebay prices. I understand supply and demand, but I just don't need them that bad I guess.

I don't know if he is an active meber of the forum or just comes on here to sell stuff. I guess that is ok too.

FYI, the threading on the inside of the Sceptre cans is the same as the Blitz Jerry cans.
