Recently while I was traveling on the Oklahoma Adventure Trail I had a buddy tell me about some sand dunes that were located in the northwestern portion of Oklahoma. He said he had been there a few times but had never been out on the back side and he wanted to trek across the entire area. Me not knowing how to say no to a good adventure definitely couldn't pass up the opportunity to check out some sand dunes! We met up at the Little Sahara State Park where we were able to walk up an observation tower and enjoy an epic sunset over the dunes. The next day we set out on our journey to cross the sand dunes in stock 4x4 trucks. Check out our journey.
