Salvage Suburban project

In April I bought a 05 Suburban 2500 6.0 from a salvage auction to use as a tow/work rig. Well that quickly changed when me and the wife decided we wanted to take a trip through Maine in September. I figured the suburban would be perfect for are family of 3 and started brainstorming. Ended up spending 12 awesome days traveling through the northeast from Virginia to Maine. Did 2800 miles and went through 11 states staying at a different campsite each night. The best vacation we have taken and are already planning another!

Strange tiny Japanese grill I found on Amazon. Works well for being so small

Outstanding job!
Thanks for sharing the ford fiesta bearing part. That's exactly what I've procrastinated making using the same idea. Now I have an idea of what will work.
Looks like it was a great trip.

looks good. How much work did you have to do to the front structures, besides replace the radiator core support?

Nothing. Unlike most trucks the fenders are actually what give the rad support it’s strength. That’s why there so big and awkward lol

Very well done, great looking tuck. it's pretty amazing how much room there is inside to comfortably live in it on a long road trip. Fantastic fan is a great idea.

Looking forward to more of your adventures.
