Road trip from the Ozarks to NM, CA, NV and UT.

Our road trip took us from the Arkansas Ozarks to Albuquerque the first day.


Day 2 took us to Bisti Wilderness


The 3rd day found us heading to Death Valley where we stopped to see a couple spots at The Valley of Fire State Park.



It was still 106 when we arrived at Death Valley at 8PM.


The next morning we did a little hiking and wheeling in Death Valley then headed towards San Diego but ended up in Lone Pine instead.

Mt. Whitney


After Mt. Whitney we did the ultimate bad thing and took a drive in Reward Mine.

After we left Reward Mine we drove around the area around Movie Flat. There was so much to see in the area.





After Lone Pine it was time to head to San Diego to start the drive up the coast.

1st stop was the rum runners cave.


Then Annie's Canyon


Wheeled at Calico



Then onto the Salton Sea and Truckhaven

Once we finally headed up the coast we stopped in LA to at a couple places.

Next up was the Devil's Gate


Along the coast










Did I mention we visited a lot of mines?


After CA we headed to Utah for a few days.

Just over 8000' miles in 18 days and the trip was over. Can't wail to head back out west over spring break.

Never could find out any information on what movie this fake cave art was from. They spent a lot of time making this old mine look like a cave. Its near Steel Bender.
