This trip took place a couple of months ago and the photos are made up from my cell phone and camera.

I had originally intended to mountain bike a portion of the Continental Divide Trail down around Cumbres, Colorado but the weather forecast wasn't favorable (I don't like biking in rain and mud, been there done that) so I decided to explore a bit of the of the Rio Grande National Forest in southern Colorado.

Lily Lake - I was try to find my way back to a lake or two in the area but one way was closed and the other I just decided not to explore due to weather.

It was a good trip and a good excuse to get away for a day. Probably sometime next year I'll make another trip out this way to explore more of the side roads and get some mountain biking and hiking.
