Just buy a channel nut and matching bolt. Ace hardware or Grainger will have what you need.

These strut channel nuts aren't going to fit the channel in a typical awning extrusion channel. Secondly, he is wanting a Tee bolt, not any kind of a nut. Amazon has Tee bolts, made for wood projects but may work in this application if you can't live with a simple hex head bolt.

So to close this thread out, in the end, I went to ACE Hardware and bought (2) M6 x 1" HEX bolts. I shaved one side of the head down and it fits perfectly onto the Rhino Rack BW awning slots. It's a solid fit. $2. Done.
